Why Collaboration Matters

You don’t need a label — you need leverage. When four artists come together intentionally, you don’t just make a better track — you multiply your momentum. Each person brings their own network: fans, friends, followers. That’s four times the exposure, trust, and opportunity. You don’t need 1,000 fans to change your life — just 100 real ones who believe in what you’re building. Collaboration helps you find them faster, together. The industry doesn’t want artists to move like this — and that’s exactly why we do.

FAQ

Do I own the track?

Yes. All artists are credited equally. The track is released collaboratively.

What if I’ve never recorded before?

That’s fine — you just need lyrics and energy. We’ll guide you.

Will this help me apply for grants?

Absolutely. You’ll walk away with a real release, press-ready assets, and guidance on setting up your FACTOR profile.

Can we perform it live?

Yes. We even provide a Showcase Starter Kit if you want to build an event with your group.

How long does it take to complete?

Most Demo Club tracks are completed within 2–3 weeks from the recording session. You’ll leave the studio with a clear timeline, and we’ll keep you in the loop on mixing, mastering, and deliverables.

What if I don’t have a song ready?

No problem. If you’ve got lyrics, a melody idea, or even a voice memo, we can help shape it into something record-ready. You’ll get onboarding guidance to prep before the session.

What do I actually get when it’s done?

You’ll receive:

  • Professionally mixed & mastered final track (MP3 + WAV)

  • Branded cover art

  • Demo Club Participation Letter (for grants)

  • All your split and credits organized

  • Optional: media content from the session

Will I know who else is on the track?

Yes! Once confirmed, you’ll be introduced to the other 2–3 artists and looped in on the concept and vibe before recording. Collaboration is the whole point.

Can I choose the vibe or theme of the track?

You’ll have input! We suggest a broad mood or direction upfront (R&B, hip-hop, indie, etc.) and build the track around the artists’ strengths and ideas.

Why is it $300-$400 per artist?

You’re getting a $1,200+ value for a fraction of the cost — including full studio time, production, mixing, mastering, branded cover art, and grant application support. It’s designed to be both accessible and serious.

Can I release it on my own?

The track is a collaborative release, so it will be dropped under The Demo Club with all artists tagged and credited. You’ll be able to share, promote, and submit it for grants, shows, or playlists.

Can I use this for a grant application?

Yes — that’s one of the major benefits. You’ll leave with a real release, official assets, and a participation letter. We’ll even walk you through setting up your FACTOR.ca profile.
